Mini Vlog 13!

Hey guys! Been way too long since we did a mini vlog, so this actually ended up being a BIG mini vlog (17+ minutes!)

One thing we mentioned is we are trying to figure out what to do with the little video we filmed about prototyping the knife handle for our collab with Alec Steele. We're exporting the rough cut right now and we'll share that in a separate post in a few!

Yeah definitely check it out when you're there! We have a 4x4 CNC at home as well, but we were hoping to use the 4x8 and do a full piece of furniture out of 1 piece of plywood all at once. That's awesome that y'all are putting more focus into Fusion, it's definitely a lot to learn but it's really powerful!

Aw yeah you missed it, it was yesterday! Darn social media algorithms that don't share posts when they're actually posted >_< We'll definitely be doing it again though, it was really fun. Twitch seems like it works best if you do it on a regular basis so we just need to decide what we can commit to haha. And thanks again!! our goal is 100k by the end of the year, anything sooner would be amazing though haha!

Pier 9 sounds great, I hope to see it in July when I am there. By the way don't forget we have a new 4'x4' CNC router at Maker Barn here in north Houston and unlike Pier 9 we will let you touch it, use it and even sweep the floor when you are done! Seriously, if you need/want to use a big CNC - we can help. Also, we have Fusion 360 user group and are putting together a class for it. The learning curve is SO steep but it's essential makers learn how to design *before* beginning to build - this is a lesson we see people learn the hard way over and over again.

Dang it, I did miss the twitch stream. I didn't realize the twitter post was on Saturday. I can't want for your co-labs, colubs or even the collaborations :). That seems really cool. Very interested in the Fusion 360 tips. I have over 20yrs experience with AutoCad but it doesn't seem to translate to Fusion 360 as easily as I expected. So the tips & tricks would be really helpful! Also again, Congrats on the 50K too! I'm sure 100K will be very soon too! - Scott
