Hey guys! Super excited to share a sneak peek of our next project :D
We're getting into cosplay and costumes by making a Wonder Woman tiara. We used thermoplastics (wonderflex and black worbla) to make the shape. We also added eyelets for elastic to be threaded through later.

We primed it with a product called Crystal Gel. We then painted it in two stages. First with brass liquid gilding. We applied it lightly and kept it away from corners.

We then switched to acrylic paints. Specifically payne's gray and a medium green. We applied this in the corners and where shadows might be. Finally, we added highlights with the brass liquid gilding.

Super excited to share the video with you guys :D
Also curious to hear what you guys think about our wandering journey through making, moving from one type of making to another (woodworking, concrete, 3d printing, CNC, costumes, etc), so let us know in the comments! Thank you!!
