5 Steps To Play And Write Consciously In Any Alternate Tuning: A Guide
Added 2020-06-30 21:02:10 +0000 UTC(See Attached)
This document is a step-by-step guide on how to approach mapping and writing in an alternate tuning. This guide will explain topics such as, how to pick a key, and how to figure out which notes you can use. Moreover, this guide also discusses advanced techniques that those well versed in music theory, can use to implement previous knowledge to a new tuning system. However, It should be noted, this document will not teach you directly how to write, but it will give you the tools you need in order to write (better!).
Also, this guide assumes a basic knowledge of music theory terminology such as diatonic scales, chords, and keys. If you don’t know what those are then check out my video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mspx4rn_qeg
Moreover, I have a number of documents on Basic Music Theory at my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/TrevorWongMusic
