No family from "the south' I mostly come up with their dialect by dropping 'th' from the, them, those, this, and their.Those become 'da, 'dem, 'does, 'dis and 'dare etc, etc. I also will drop contractions and leave out a word. LIke above "I will be" or "I'll be" becomes 'I be"

There is something about the Southern dialect that I have always loved. I think it's the manner of speech, but also it's just the accent as well. I think you have it down pact. Do you have family members that are from the South (no offense but if you are, I couldn't tell through an accent)? Or do you do research for them?
