The Second War came to an end when the Wood Elves of Druirhiel withdrew from the conflict, marking a pivotal moment that led to Acrecia's defeat. Following this retreat, they turned their homeland into a realm shrouded in mystery and intrigue, prompting attempts from various nations to spy on the secluded Wood Elves. In response to these espionage efforts, the Sylvanrest Wards were created.
