It’s announcement time again. As a loyal Patron, we’re giving you first access.
#GodAwfulMovies is coming to San Francisco, CA on Friday, Apri 3rd, 2026! We’ll be reviewing another Christian movie LIVE and in person at San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center – Wilsey Center.
There will be General Admission and VIP show tickets on Friday + Platinum night (April 4th) dinner tickets on Saturday. But hurry, these extra events ALWAYS sell out.

Depending on the airline and time, SFO can be cheaper (sometimes considerably so), and it’s marginally easier to transfer to BART/Muni. IMO SJC is not worth it if you’re focused on SF/Oakland or the N. Bay. SJC is out of the way, has horrible traffic, and marginal public transit options-but it’s great if you’re going to SJ. Frankly I’d rather go to Sacramento (SMF) than SJC. OAK is great, don’t get me wrong, but SFO isn’t the absolute worst.

2025-12-09 20:58:03 +0000 UTCWe haven't booked our hotels yet (or selected the dinner location on Saturday night), but there are tons of hotels withing a short walk or Uber of the theater. You should have not trouble finding many. VIP night is at the actual theater, afterwards, so no need to travel there.

2025-12-09 00:23:12 +0000 UTCWoo. Ticket purchased. Notes from someone who has gone to SF a few times: Your best bet is to fly into the Oakland airport. Or even San Jose in a pinch. The one that is actually called San Francisco is not worth it. Also, don’t book a hotel in the Tenderloin.
