For you see, many years prior, a brave and handsome screenwriter had known about rabbits' evils and tried to warn them of their eventual uprising. Many had laughed at him, mocked him, but when the day of cuddly terror finally came, who was it they turned to in their time of need? That's right! The hunky screenwriter.

They run fast, they have evil little faces and I've been both stalked by one at an open range zoo, and had my mini bus attacked by one when on a primary school excursion. Fucking terrifying. And then, once the emus have been destroyed at the end, they could have one of those "you think all is well but it's not" moments (a la Nightmare on Elm Street), as a Cassowary appears.

We had one that would try to nest in the Xmas tree skirt every year and if you tried to straighten it out she would promise to eviscerate you where you stand in rabbitese. That little thing taught me how vicious bunnies can be. Fun pets, though. A lot like cats.

Sidenote: If you want a pet rabbit, adopt. You'll get one already fixed for cheaper, and old enough that you'll be able to reckon their personality.
