Another great reaction! Bit of a heavier topic, given what Kai went through, but an interesting episode. I agree the redhead was clearly not to be trusted, and you used the perfect word for it. That she was just too agreeable, and so early on. "Where did this episode come from?" you asked -- the answer: NCIS: LA. :P This episode is actually part 2 of the story; part 1 began in NCIS: LA (hence why the several references). So you got the end half, and I look forward to you someday getting to watch the first half. It was slightly foreshadowed in a previous NCIS episode where Vance was on the phone saying goodbye to his wife, as he was headed to the airport. They set up another NCIS:LA story in this episode you just watched too, but I won't say for who or when. So if you get stories like this or characters seem a bit odd, having gone through something off-screen, it's typically tied to an NCIS:LA story. It's not as random as it seems, but if you feel like you missed something just know that's probably what it is so one day you'll get the rest of the pieces. I look forward to that, whenever it may be. :)
