So I have no idea what's happening with these guys. Did this thing steal an Adventurer's gear? Did it kill an Adventurer and now it's puppeting their body? Is this just the real form of Adventurers in general? I dunno and I'm not about to go looking for answers, so instead I'll just tell you what they do.
Stooges have a lot of the same skills as your average Adventurer, so that immediately makes them a huge threat. Now I know that sounds funny to read, an Adventurer being threatening? Right?? But I've seen enough coworkers and enemies alike turned into ash by a lucky Secret to Everyone, to know that Adventurers mean business. Let's just be thankful Stooges don't have hands, otherwise they could use Close too.
Now, LUCKILY these things can't actually see. Instead, they sort of just react to movement in their general area. So as long as you stay thirty to fifty metres away from them, you're good. If you can attack from outside that range, even better. You'll take them out before they even notice you.
Mind that umbrella, it really hurts.

About 80 years or so ago, a vast quantity of Adventurer class gear was stolen from several different guilds, leading to a mass shortage of them, causing a lot of trouble for new and aspiring Adventurers just setting out from the guilds.
The result of this theft, was the stooge. However, our top Scientists believe that rather than theft, it was a prank gone wrong, and these outfits just got up and walked away.
