It was nice to see Clint Howard (Commander Buck Martinez) in another Star Trek role. He's been in TOS (Balok in "The Corbomite Maneuver"), DS9 (S3 episode "Past Tense"), Enterprise (a Ferengi in "Acquisition"), and Discovery (an Orion).

2025-06-25 03:06:05 +0000 UTCI actually suffered through the whole thing, and I detest musicals. The one good thing I can say about it is that there was some development on Jim Kirk's & La'an's "relationship" and to a lesser extent on Spock's & Chapel's relationship. Neither is of tremendous significance though, so I don't think it'll matter for those that skipped the episode.

2025-06-25 03:00:12 +0000 UTCGotta respect the decision to skip episode 9. I remember when i first watched it i was skipping through the entire thing. Think it was only about 10 minutes once i had skipped everything i found boring. If your looking for a good show i highly recommend "The Capture" or "Slow Horses". Slow Horses is a love letter to british spy movies but with a comedy flick to it. Its only the only Show im aware of that has scored 98%+ on rotten tomatos on all of its seasons.
