If you ever do check out any medical type shows (I am not a big fan of Er/Greys anatomy and shows like that) The Knick would be the one to watch. It isn't super popular,I haven't seen nearly anyone react to it. Set in early 1900s about The Knickerbocker hospital which was on the cutting edge of new and experimental medical procedures/ surgeries.

2025-04-23 19:03:40 +0000 UTCCriminal Minds is pretty good if the psychological reasoning behind crimes is your thing. Dexter is one of my favourite all-time shows. Season 1 follows the plot of the book, Darkly Dreaming Dexter, pretty faithfully but veers off on its own devices from season 2. The characters like Laguerta and Angel are somewhat one dimensional in the first season because they are nothing more than background characters in the book series, but in the show, they are fleshed out so much more.
