The Mage - Step by Step

We both hope you would like to see steps and tutorial on one more character from "The Party" Marko and I were working on as a boxarts for Bold Miniatures. :)
I will guide you trough steps of underpainting and overlapping interaction. How to make similar colors appear different with different brushstroke application or slight change in a mixture. How to keep a color, that's not very dark in value to be flowing trough whole model and being constant in shades.
Tutorial is in attachment.
Previous tutorial on "The Party" was about painting light skin, while in this one you will learn more about painting a dark skin. It would be very insightful to watch and read both. :)

One more fun thing to add is that, on a weekend behind us, we had Richard (one of the students from this community) visiting us for a private coaching.
