Generally true, but I don't see the relevance of the Ice Queen reference? That was about his date for Halloween, he was supposed to go dressed as Elf (the small christmas-y kind) and she as Ice Queen. That didn't seem to have anything to do with the book.

2025-02-25 05:14:47 +0000 UTCMcGee's book coming out of nowhere: Not really. In 02x11 Black Water, McGee tells the PI that he does some writing. He even mentions, at 18m 40s into that episode, that his main character is based on Gibbs. Since then, it has been mentioned multiple times or at least alluded too. In 04x06 Witch Hunt, McGee says he meet his "Ice Queen" at the Armani Store. A high-end clothier, for example.
