Joel reclaimed his own humanity but perhaps at the expense of all of humanity. I've never had a game leave me with such a huge moral quandary.

2025-02-19 20:11:22 +0000 UTCI'm with you, this show is simply amazing. It treats the source material with so much respect, which otherwise pretty much never happens. When an episode makes you cry after 10 minutes and over a person they just indroduced, i'd say they have done everything right and know exatly what they are doing. The actress, who played Ellie's mum, was Ashley Johnson, the original voice actor of Ellie in the game. It's almost poetic, since Ashley had such a big impact on the way that Naughty Dog was portraying Ellie, that one could say, that she is Ellie's mother in a way. She also looks alot like Bella Ramsey, so it made even more sense. One of the nurses was also a familiar face, Laura Bailey, who played a huge role in the second game. The ones who know, know :)
