And literally is still always evolving since Arcane changed league lore also. Also fun fact, in original Vi lore, she had amnesia and someone wrote "Vi" on her face so she would know who she was when she woke up because she had an id on her.

2025-01-31 11:01:24 +0000 UTCBe careful looking up League lore etc. some of it is outdated or currently being rewritten because of things like the show arcane. An example of this is Vi was released in 2012 while Jinx was released in 2013. Riot games had no intention of Vi being Jinx's sister a year earlier so early versions of her lore would have no mention of the two being related at all. In fact originally the idea was Jinx was the older sister. Vi was the gangster turned cop who had no idea about Jinx's identity and Jinx was the anarchist who destroyed stuff in an attempt to have a connection to Vi. I gotta say new lore is way more fleshed out, though it is interesting to see how old information becomes twisted into the new.

There are gods and entities called the watchers that basically were in a peaceful void until Runeterra appeared, it was like a bright light in their void that kept them awake and annoyed them. So They tried to seep through reality to destroy it by using people and being tricksters. It's such a beautiful world-building. I recommend you watch the video titled "The World of Riot's MMO is Already Done" by necrit he basically showcases the world from regions to races to surface level lore of every region. The video shows visuals and art to keep you entertained too

2025-01-30 23:24:27 +0000 UTCThose little furry people are a race that's called Yordles in Runeterra world which is the world where Arcane takes place. Yordles are technically immortal. When a Yordle is "killed," they don't die in the same way as mortals. Instead, their essence is tied to Bandle City’s magic, meaning they often reappear there rather than truly perishing. Their exact fate depends on the circumstances, but they are generally very difficult to kill permanently. So basically Smeech who Sevika killed probably just respawned lol

2025-01-30 22:28:44 +0000 UTCI also forgot to mention, the song that plays from Sevika's arm is Jinx's theme song Riot Made almost 10 years ago now called "Get Jinxed." They also used it in season 1, episode 4 when Silco is yelling at Jinx in her base after stealing the hex gemstone. There's tons of artistic choices they made in season 2 which are kind of cool, just wouldn't know unless you know league lore and read creative interviews on the making of season 2.

2025-01-30 20:58:18 +0000 UTCAccording to resources and show creators, Arcane in total cost around $250 million dollars. Arcane season 1 took 6 years to make, costing a total around $100-110 million, almost $10-12 million per episode. Season 2 took an additional 3 years to make. It is considered one of the most expensive animated series ever made movie or tv show related. Arcane season 1 included 9 champions from the game whom are Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Jayce, Viktor, Heimdeinger, Singed, and one more I can’t include for spoiler reasons. For season 2 they did make both Ambessa and Mel playable characters in the league. Also beware they are re-making some character backstories with Arcane. I have dropped a playlist a few times, but I revised it because of a few cinematics. I am going to drop it for 2x3, but not only would we love it as Arcane fans, but as a league community we love to see new people wanting to learn more about the world. There’s also two new cinematic trailers that tie into Arcane
