2024-11-22 02:27:57 +0000 UTC8:06 Floch starts a rally but idk if the girls truly understand the predicament these "eldians" are in, relative to the world. maybe it will finally hit in ep28 but this show is a masterpiece not bc of plot armor, flashy spectacles, cheap fanservice nor anything just a contrived. No this is grounded, meant for the viewers to self analyze, self reflect, as in life. There's no such thing as black and white, just shades of gray. Once "you" were proud Scouts, but most of them would be future Yeagerist, are "you" willing to sacrifice "your" people, friends & family for "your" ideals? murder someone you grew up with bc they Think different? does this make "you" feel uncomfortable and think of irl ongoing tragedies? or are WE sheep, going with the flow to survive? maybe its best to not think and just watch cartoons. Most ppl all over the world instinctually relate/love this show bc its speaking to them. others have cognitive dissonance for an answer/reaction, or just too young to comprehend. Thats why this Show is that important, its bridging gaps between generations, language barriers and peoples. This isn't a jab at the ladies they are wonderful beings, or anyone in particular, just saw the opportunity to share why this show resonates so much with so many communities around the world.

Ppl be hating on Eren, Floch, and Eldains trying to protect their island because if they did nothing. They would have gotten killed by Marley. It’s extreme but both sides been extreme since the beginning. It’s a dog eat dog world in this show.

But aside from Eren, Floch is the literal embodiment of the people of paradis. His character arch is one of the best ones in my opinion. From shaking in his boots on his way to a death march, to becoming a leader (extremist as he may be) people aspire to be.

2024-11-20 09:14:55 +0000 UTCTbh, Floch and his Jaegerists are pretty much doing what the Warriors did through S1-3, Magath and team had been doing, the Scouts did in Liberio, etc. It’s just a matter of how many deaths is not strategically acceptable, when it comes down to it. If Eren’s Genocide is not acceptable to protect Marley, then was Armin’s massacre in Liberio acceptable? Reiner/Annie/B’s killings in earlier seasons acceptable? Although Floch is a despicable character, can’t say he’s not a dedicated Eldian fighting for his people, to the end.
