2024-12-03 16:27:55 +0000 UTCI'm gonna say it now cause a lot of reactors went too deep into this, Silco and Powder's relationship is nothing more than a father and daughter, you'll see it more through later scenes and dialogues, nothing weird and creepy, I kinda hate how they animated that, that's my only complain in Arcane season 1, I get she's clingly cause of all the trauma but they could've done it differently. Silco is a bad man but he's not sick.

Also kinda saved her life from getting killed from Silco and his people.

2024-11-18 14:05:23 +0000 UTCI think you guys nailed a lot of stuff here. Jinx and Silco's relationship is supposed to make you uncomfortable. It is a father/daughter relationship but we see that in alot of ways jinx has not mentally matured since vanders death. She is still acting like a 9 year old girl would around their father but that dynamic is really weird when said girl is 17-18ish. Jinx didn't develop in an environment and mental headspace where those boundaries existed. One thing I think is telling is that Silco trusts Jinx to administer an injection into his eye, I don't know about you but there are only a few people I would ever trust injecting my eye with stuff. So excited to see you guys experience what this show has to offer and see these characters develop.

I am always interested by episode 3 reactions because I am curious how well people are "sold" by Powder having abandonment issues. Then top it off what happened in episode 3. Doesn't really lead to good mental stability and growth. Then add in Silco, while he wants what's best for the undercity, even though he doesn't always go about it the best way and how that affected Powder over the years, whether good or bad intentions. I said it before in one of your other videos. This show is very good at two things 1)Anybody can be a villain in other person story 2)They are all victims of some sort of circumstances. I don't think anybody is all good, or all bad, and there's lot of gray area within many of the characters. In my personal opinion, this is one of the mot nuanced shows out there. I was very pleased by your episode 3 reaction and thoughts. I have a been a long time fan of y'all and just cause of Arcane I had to get Patreon, so excited to see you get futher into this show and hopefully take time to explore this universe, lore, and characters.
