This is why you're girls are having problems cheering for one side or another. There are just to many likeable characters on both sides. Sadly this mirrors the reality of all major conflicts throughout human history.

2024-08-09 00:58:37 +0000 UTCI love the imagery of Reiner's armor being broken/incomplete at the end of the episode when he transforms because at this point, he's a broken man with nothing left. All this mans wants is to die, to be freed from the guilt and trauma he's had to deal with, but for the sake of Gabi and Falco, he digs deeps and manages a partial transformation. Even more poetically, he's transforming to fight and save Porco, the Jaw Titan who just so happens to be the brother of Marcel, the Jaw Titan he'd previously abandoned and fled from after Ymir attacked them all those years ago.

Understanding Eren's motivations and actions will be answered... eventually lol. It's such a mind blowing thing to see. The continued emotional dissonance of seeing Reiner and Co's side of the story combined with already knowing our Paradis Crew's story is such great story telling. Why do we have such a love/hate relationship with Reiner but it's becoming more love than hate?!?!?! 😓
