yeah i was assuming that much when i thought about it after the episode, it would send up red flags to Samaritan. ;)

He cant be a professor and have access to hundreds of millions because Samaritan would see that and wonder how this random professor got all that money, then Samaritan would start to dig into Finch's new identity.
