Saturday update!

Hello everyone, I hope you've had a good week and are having a wonderful weekend. We're almost to the end of the month, and I wanted to post an update to Patreon because it did occur to me that not everyone is on the Discord server (click to join, by the way!) and you won't all see when I'm writing away and what we're chatting about.

As usual, progress is being made on chapters. We have absolutely smashed through the goal of 50 patrons (thank you all!!) and that is fantastic.

I haven't yet put up another goal because I don't yet know when I'll have the time to complete more extras (and what's a goal without some extras?!), but it's coming, probably for next month.

I have plans for said extras for patrons, and Discord members were able to have a sneaky preview of what I'm thinking of creating, but here's that list for those who haven't seen it:

1. Spellsword mood boards.

When writing and planning the story, I gather images from various sources to help solidify the characters and settings in my mind. I will be curating some of these images into mood boards, along with additional comments/text for each one.

2. Side stories.

As always, there are many stories that can and will be told within the Spellsword world. Side stories, often short stories, can add to the tapestry that is Faye's story and add flavour, either by highlighting an interesting aspect of the system, or by showing the origins of a side character, or... anything else we like the sound of.

3. Audio chapters.

I have already had some requests for audio chapters of Spellsword, the main thing stopping these being made is time and the conspicuous amounts of it that I lose every week into a timehole of darkness... I swear that since 2020, time runs faster. I'm not the only one, right?

4. More! Moooore!

One of the key goals that I would like to hit, eventually, is being able to add to the number of chapters that each tier receives, or the number of releases per week. As a word of warning, this is a long term goal. It's a dream to write full time. I absolutely cannot increase the number of releases per week currently as I do have a full time job that pays the bills. However, if our community of patrons carries on growing, who knows where we could end up?

But now, I open up to you, lovely patrons. What other bonus content would you love to see from the Spellsword Patreon, what kind of thing would get you excited to open an email and find, one day?
