The RCE Captain and expedition lead who Holden spoke to on the way to Ilus seemed much more level headed but was killed in the crash, so Murtry was the ranking officer who survived. I'm sure things would be done differently if the Cap survived. The standoff was reminiscent of Sergio Leone Spaghetti Westerns. All we needed was a Morricone score and the sound of Cicadas in the background. ๐

2020-11-28 22:09:18 +0000 UTCthey've told(lied)Marco Inaros that they'll give him up to Inners, then "reactor overload-can't speed up" was a ploy for Drummer to leave Ashford alone with Inaros, so he would try to sway Ashford, i.e. for Ashford to question him, and Inaros slipped a bit with "Mars is different" but didn't take the bait fully, as Ashford said, and the rest is politics. Holden has a "shield" as UN Sec's personal envoy, that's why he can control Murtry, but Murtry is right about this particular situation(about RCE shuttle), only his methods are a bit too excessive
