Shadow (2018) - chinese wuxia film that’s visually stunning Les Intouchables (2011) - french film Pan’s Labyrinth (2006) is always a good op Spirited Away (2001) - or really any Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli film also, give The Wandering Earth (2019) a try if you like sci fi and lovely visuals

2020-11-21 13:23:53 +0000 UTC‘City of Lost Children’ is incredibly weird, incredibly beautiful, and incredibly French. ‘Abre los Ojos’ is a Spanish film that is a real mindfuck (there was an American remake called ‘Vanilla Sky’ with Tom Cruise, but for the love of god do not watch it). ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’ may be Del Toro’s finest film & has a cult following for good reason. I’ll always have a soft spot for ‘Run Lola, Run’ because I fell in love with it at 17.
