2020-11-08 17:22:09 +0000 UTCAnother Zero G effect you may not have picked up on - when Naomi wakes up in the skiff/shuttle and you see the sparks on her console turn into a growing orange "bubble" of sorts... you commented that the laws of physics were not behaving. Actually, that was *because* of the laws of physics. What you saw there was a zero G fire. That's what a fire looks like without gravity. Naomi put on her helmet and opened the hatch in order to quickly rid the cabin of oxygen, which is what extinguished the fire. Once again, attention to detail and a realistic depiction of what Zero-G is like -- the Zero-G fire, minor injuries becoming life-threatening, Tilly's tears... all of these are examples of the work these people put in to get the science right. It's quite impressive, and adds so much to the show.

2020-11-07 21:12:22 +0000 UTCAnna for the win! I love that scene. And this was an episode shot entirely in zero G which might be the first time it is done so well and in such fine detail. You caught the tears filling up in her eyes that could not fall. We love The Expanse for these details. BTW Episodes 12 and 13 were aired together so just fair warning it will be hard to put a break between them...
