If you didn't realize it the camera guy is blind and has an embedded interface to the camera drones for sight. Wonder why he doesn't wear glasses with the same tech when he's not operating the drones? Really enjoyed the Belter covers.

2020-10-25 15:04:11 +0000 UTCIts the start of a new book. Only "jarring" thing about it is, that they're doing it in the middle of a season. Would you have the same reaction if it would be the first episode of a new season? They explained everything needed at the beginning including why the time jump and how much time has passed. The thing from Venus traveled beyond Uranus and transformed into "the ring". The factions of the system discussed what to do after the events of the last episodes ended the war. It was politically decided to send expedition fleets to the ring. Naomi already mentioned in the last episode that she would leave the Crew and join the Belters. She just did that. All that took time (and would be boring to watch). So here we are... when things get interesting again. Of course there will be new characters and developments. Its a new book and they are in a completely new situation

2020-10-25 01:34:52 +0000 UTCThe time jump is very jarring but if you think about it, everyone traveling back to Mars and Ganymede and Earth at the end of Caliban's war (second book that just ended) is a bit boring. So we jump ahead six months to the various factions all traveling toward the Ring to see what's that all about! Maneo ("neo") is a slingshotter who also serves the purpose of seeing time pass as he slingshots from Jupiter to Saturn and now out to the Ring. And then he trips the switch if you will. and then....weird things happen!!

2020-10-25 01:20:31 +0000 UTCManeo was just a slingshot racer, his "travel" served time/distance purpose, and what happened to him in the end was due to extreme deceleration. Camina's new XO Ashford seems to be VERY experienced, and that "reporter", or whatever she is- Monica is HOT as hell..to me at least..in her case, if I was Amos maybe I'd "sh*t where I eat"..
