2020-09-01 22:27:55 +0000 UTCThat toast with Miller's bottle of Ganymede Gin always gets to me. Great comment that the PM exists outside of linear time. If you recall that episode with the Julie flashback, her last vision before her death showed Miller (with the hat) entering her hotel room followed by the bird, just as he was led to her by the bird in this episode. Also if you recall, Miller was talking to Naomi about his visions of Julie, and said she says "You belong with me", just as in this version of her. It poses the question of whether those visions were only hallucinations. I believe you're right, he was protected from the high G forces, the PM infection, and was definitely invited for some unknown purpose.
