NEW VIDEO EDITING PC RIG BUILD

I have now purchased all the components to build my new Editing RIG this weekend. A few storage/HDD's are moving around from other PC's and the network re-worked, and some maintenance, plus the full day build, so expect Patreon releases may be somewhat delayed during the transition. Its not often you get to build a new PC dedicated to video editing so i'm looking forward to this! Thanks for everyone's understanding

I have a 3900X. It's such a good processor. Enjoy the performance!

that oughta do it

Boognish

Holy crap, look at all that sexiness! *drool* SIXTY-FOUR GIGABYTES OF RAM WHAT. Good RAM as well. 12 cores?! Very much needed though, given the number and quality of the files you're processing. Plus I imagine you've somewhat future-proofed it, as much as anyone can these days. I wouldn't call myself a person in the know by any means, but even a relative computer dunce can absorb a lot from being around those who do know. My dad built a computer for his PhD in the late 70s/early 80s from base component level (he's recently retired from being a Professor of Audio Technology) and I have a few friends with tasty setups.
