Yay! I'm so happy you're reacting to this show! Love Picard, love Star Trek, and can't wait to go on this continuing journey along with you! What a great first episode. I love the idea of this coming about because of Bruce Maddox and his continued work with Data to create synthetic life. We also have the ramifications of Romulus being destroyed and a connection to the Borg that I can't wait to learn about. This is going to be a great series.
