Sorry no , she was definitely into peter lol she was telling olivia that she better act on peter because she was coming for him lol its sweet to think and hope she was talking about olivia but they barely talked to each other this whole episode and she definitely had a connection with peter . Sometimes it is what it is . She liked peter smh

i agree this episode is a weak one, and its placement is confusing, but considering it was supposed to air halfway through season 1, they nixed what they felt was the least necessary episode when they had to - especially as it doesn't have any overarching plot mentioned at all. some of us were naturally v confused when charlie showed up. but a couple people had heard of it, bc this episode kind of just came up suddenly, not on the regular weekly schedule (i looked it up - three days before the "return" from the winter finale). and no, the girl *definitely* had a crush on olivia. i feel like of all people, only a straight man would interpret what lisa said as a warning (or whatever) to olivia. wlw don't exist apparently. this show, as much as i love it, is super heteronormative, but this wasn't one of those times. you were, of course, meant to think it was peter she liked (especially with lisa asking peter if olivia was his girlfriend - she was actually asking to know if olivia was free or not). like if you're going to tell someone when you're "legal" it's going to be the person you want, not the person you only assume will be "in the way". anyway, this episode's word was "AVENGE"

The comment near the end from the girl saying "I'll be 18 in a year. Don't take too long to make your move" is because she has a crush on Peter and thinks Olivia is her competition for him

To be perfectly honest, Ep12 is “weak” relative to the strength of the back half of season 2. It is another ‘story of the week’ type deal, but I think as long as you go in not expecting much plot development, it’s actually not bad - especially for Walter’s characterisation. 2x12 does get referenced in a later season however, so I don’t suggest a skip. After 2x12 though, the season really ramps up in my opinion - my favourite episodes of the whole series are in the back half of season 2 😊

Please don't skip the next episode. I really liked it. Has a lot of great Walter moments, some good growth from him. It's an interesting case with a lot of heart.

Well I actually like Johari Window too. That episode is a good one, in my opinion. This episode "Unearthed" on the other hand not so much. I just looked it up and I forgot that this episode even aired on a different day. Fringe aired on Thursdays (If I remember right) but Unearthed aired on a Monday.

With regards the next episode, Johari Window, and weather or not you should bother, I wasn't aware it was so badly received. I always thought it was an enjoyable ep, clever story and it has a lot of Walter. It also sheds more light on...well, I won't say that just in case. And it does have relevance to the story arc as it is mentioned in a particularly important episode much further into the show...and I won't talk about that either. If you'd rather watch it yourself that's fine, but I wouldn't skip it, that's for sure.

This episode was originally shot for Season 1 but aired during season 2. Apparently Joshua Jackson explained that Fox ordered 23 episodes but only had airdates for 22 episodes. This episode is probably the worst episode of the series. In fact I didn't even recognize this episode so I looked at my Season 2 dvd's. It is not even listed in the main season. Episode 10 is Grey Matters and Episode 11 is Johari Window. It is on the DVD's though but on the last disc as a special feature. lol

warrior j(ar) j(ar) abrams and his second(alex kurtzman) aired this ep like this cause it contains a plot with just another mystery they've put in but didn't know how to properly solve..so they've just abandoned it..and that is, let's say: flaw of the fringe, or to be exact: mystery box writing..and ep12 is just another of those kind of episodes
and happy new year 2020 😀
