On rewatch of these too, obviously water knows because of the grave scene. However, just showing how excellent John Noble acting is, a few episodes ago when they were in the lab (cant remember when now). They mentioned something that hinted this, and John glanced in the direction of Peter.

2025-01-04 11:40:32 +0000 UTCI just realised on this rewatch, or at least forgot that I already knew it, in the season 1 finale when we were first introduced into Williams office, we see "Obamas move into NEW whitehouse". So they are saying here that the white house was the target on 911 instead of the towers, not that it simply never happened, just different buildings were the target.
