as for the star trek stuff in this episode - there are so many great things going on here!! first, the apartment # is one many trekkies would recognise - 1701 :) his name is emmanuel grayson - amanda grayson was spock's mom, and he thinks he's spock. the story he tells of renegade romulans here from another time to change the timeline - it's the story of jj abrams' star trek reboot. jj abrams is the showrunner of fringe, and this aired within a day of when that movie came out in theatres :) and the actor? played the child, balok, as a kid in ST:TOS. (he's also been in other ST things over the years.) a non-related random fact is he's the brother of ron howard. i'm so glad harris got the ending he deserved :)) also walter crying makes me cry every damn time, no matter how much i've watched this show. john noble is so amazing. they all are, honestly. this episode's word: "VISION"
