Here's the first mood board I ever made for collecting ideas and inspiration for BKI characters, scenes, concepts, etc.
I actually used this board to send Daryl inspiration and example images for designing a lot of the characters you've already seen in BKI (and a few that have yet to make their debut) 😉
You'll notice I mostly included art and images of demons in this collection. I'll be making others specifically for the other various creatures and entities that will show up in the comic story.
Until then, enjoy some of my favorite illustrations and sketches of these creepy demon daddies/kweens 😆❤️

I have been of the opinion that if demonkind's M.O. is to seduce humans into sacrificing their souls, the demons themselves would be charming and very sexy. Which is a good thing since Daryl Toh is one of the best at portraying characters that are sexy, charming and with a sense of humor simultaneously.
