For this month's script post, I wanted to show a page that highlighted the contrast in the script versus what Daryl interprets for the comic art.
As you can see, I had a very specific visual for how I wanted this page to be laid out. Usually for these types of scenes, I try to provide Daryl with as much detail as I can so that the image comes out how I imagined it. Let me just say Daryl is such a talented artist and he gets my vision down every single time, but for this particular page he NAILED it.
Also, I provide "Text Box:" dialogue when I want speech bubbles to run over a page when the character speaking isn't present in the image. This is so Daryl knows how the layout of the conversation will play into the comic art for each section.
Though I can sometimes be meticulous in my detail descriptions, he still puts up with my shit and delivers masterful work xD
