For this month's script post, I wanted to show you guys Gamigin's entrance scene. The reason being, I just love Gamigin's character so much xD
When I was drawing out my character plans for Cal's various relatives, Gamigin definitely came first (sorry Bel, lol). I wanted him to be beautiful, regal, and kinda arrogantly self-righteous, kinda like those know-it-all, glasses-wearing, douchebag anime guys that think they're better than everyone else. An example character that I used for inspiration for Gamigin is Kaeda Manyuda from Kakegurui.
I want Gamigin to have his own character arc of growth and acceptance, but I also want him to be a huge d-bag xD I can't decide which. I like my bad boys.
Another question I get a lot regarding Gamigin is the hair – more specifically, "why long white hair?" My response to this is simple, it makes him an easy pseudo-villain. If you hate his hair, it makes it easier to hate him as a person, lol. So it sets up his character development really well. Plus, I feel like the long hair gives him a flamboyant edge, like he's better than everyone else and he knows it – just look at his fabulous hair.
