I heard that Webtoon is removing banners? For those who’ve seen the change, how is it? My app still looks the same, haha. I wonder what made them decide that, though... banners were literally our only way to get a decent number of new subs.
As for SAH, I’ve seen some people asking about it. I’m not sure if it was here or on IG, but I did mention that my plan is to finish IDAP first. I also haven’t talked to Tapas about it yet. Honestly, after IDAP Season 2, I just want to step back from publishers for a while. There have been so many changes lately, and they’re affecting a lot of creators. It’s honestly scary to think about the future of this industry. 😅

I’ve realized that I still value creative freedom over everything else. If I didn’t need the money at the time, I probably would have turned down those offers.

When I saw the news about the banner, literally my first thought was what happens to series on hiatus since the comeback banners helped a ton. My app hasn't updated and the banners seem to still change daily so not sure what is WT planning. For those of you who are on Android, go to the webtoon app in play store, tap the 3 vertical dots on top right and uncheck "Enable auto updates" !! Banners aside, the new layout is ugly and a huge downgrade, best to make sure the app won't auto update.
