So, my new editor thinks we should take a break after episode 24, not 25 like we planned. She figured ending at 24 would leave everyone hanging more, which I totally get. Plus, the team could really use the downtime.
This break also gives me time to work on the original version of episode 25. Had to change a lot because of editor suggestions, especially toning down the steamy scenes
Initially, intimate/sex scenes were important to the series. We had to tone down Isaac's more aggressive and touchy behavior, which was supposed to trigger a traumatic memory for Finn. In my original story, Finn nearly faced sexual assault by his father, and Noah killed his father because of it. (It was like the last straw for the two) We had to omit this part as it was deemed too dark. Anyway, the art for the original version and any NSFW episodes in the future will be simpler and as distinct as possible from the webtoon's quality. This is to adhere to the contract's stipulations against creating alternative or exclusive "canon" sequels or anything related to the series. So, we'll just pretend these versions are unrelated, but you get the gist. wink wink
