Bad enough that the trash mom abandons her husband and kid without looking back, then her trash significant other abandons their kids when she dies? It's understandable that Eun Gee felt overwhelmed by that sudden responsibility at such a young age. And she clearly had already changed her mind about abandoning them, but now the guilt is eating her up. I'm so glad Shuhei is being understanding but still holding her accountable to make it right with them. I love the realistic emotions and how you can tell he's a good guy underneath his rough exterior. 😊

I loved how he didn't try to comfort her by making what she did less wrong, instead Shuhei offered a solution: show them you are sorry. Find them. Apologize. And that makes a difference: he let her know it was wrong but she has redemption. I just loved this interaction. Really.
