The Dragon Isles has been teased for years now - we thought we were even going there in Battle for Azeroth... but no dice. Soon, maybe?

I love the concept. I think either the Light or Dragon Isles would be a great way to bring the story back home in a way that is desperately needed.
As much as I love the dragons, I really wanna see the Light expansion come to… light. Yrel being back would be wild, the affect it would have on the Alliance has so much potential, and it’s the perfect way to push the Alliance story forward. I’m sick of the drama in my faction. They can have a turn.
I really really hope they go one of those two ways with it. You guys have done a brilliant job of guessing what’s coming next

I'm a simple woman, I see dragons, I smash that like button. Dragons and elfs was my trigger for being interested in lore of this game. I would be pretty happy, if they do one good dragon themed expansion. I'm all for the classic fantasy stuff. That's why I find that Dragon Isles concept art confusing. The architecture (minus the squid) always looked south Asia like to me. We don't have much of that in WoW, do we? Now the location - with Stormsong design and with that Jaina cutscene, where she spills the ink on the map around Stormsong - I kinda hoped, they have plan there - yes the obvious Old Gods (which happened), but with the temple design I really hoped they sneak the Isles in. It would be like northwest from Stormsong and southeast of Dragonblight - it would make perfect sense, that titan path which leads through Northrend and ends behind Wyrmrest temple, its broken parts leading to the sea - to the Dragon Isles facility. Maybe the Isles architecture supposed to look similar to the Wyrmrest temple, but mutated with Old gods stuff. The curse of flesh experiments would make so much sense - like the titan path leads from Ulduar, where the Titans kept Yog. Also all the titan's perfect creation are made of stone and earth or are robots, so why are the proto drakes fleshy, right?
