Fuck!

As you've hopefully noticed, I unpaused Patreon for May. I've had a plan of what to upload this month and I've been pretty excited about it as it would be a video series that is a little different from what has been here previously, with specific focus on exterior rendering.
However I've faced some problems I never anticipated. I've been scanning assets for this scene, 3d models and outdoor textures that I wanted to use, but for the most important texture I've been facing severe alignment and texturing issues in RC that I have not been able to perfectly solve yet. I've been re-scanning the surfaces multiple times with different techniques to try to figure out what works and what not. The learning curve for this kind of scans was way steeper than I though it would be.
To get moving with the videos, I could just buy some textures online, but it's important to me that I can also share the assets with you which I would not be able to with bought assets. I really had anticipated to finish those textures off by mid May and then be able to produce a bunch of videos, but that was apparently not the case.
So here's my solution: I have yet again paused Patreon for June, however the content that was scheduled for May will come in June instead, so you can be sure that I'm not trying to grab your pennies without delivering content. After May, I am now in debt to you.
The content is coming, just a bit later than I had wanted to.
There's also another reason to why I'm being late with this, and those of you who are following the Texture.Supply Patreon may already know why. I've always been passively involved in Texture.Supply. Martin has always been the front figure, focusing on the important texture creation and I've been helping out with rendering and hardware engineering. However we've now decided to enter a new phase and I'm becoming more involved with Texture.Supply than ever before, meaning less time for other adventures.
How that will affect Patreon I don't yet know, but I'll continue producing the planned content in June and then we'll see how the story unfolds. :-)
Hope you're not mad at me for being late, I really hope I can make this next video series worth the wait. In other words, I hope the results I can produce will match the vision I have for it. Truth be told, this is a new area for me as well and I'm super scared that the results will turn out like shit.
I'll keep you updated!
