T-REX Battlesuit: Spectre Edition!

This post is part five of a series of bi-daily posts I'll be making for each model of the T-Rex Exosuit. There are going to be quite a few, and I'll give each one a small writeup. Expect plenty of reveals in the serial itself, rather than here on Patreon! 

The Spectre Exosuit is the most surprising design Raul has drawn for me in a very long time. I don't like to use the term, 'love at first sight,' but damn do I love this exosuit! The four 'tentacles' on the back (thanks for ruining that word, Japan) give it a really unique flavor. I never actually requested for them, but given the Spectre's purpose, they're extremely practical.

Infiltration, espionage, and assassination. The invisibility-equipped Spectre exosuit is the ideal weapon for spying on and killing top-ranked demons. While its defenses are sub-optimal, its ability to strike from the shadows, hide its pilot's magical signature, and mask their body signs, makes it a weapon of mass destruction when used to target certain types of demons.

The four tentacles on its back, or the 'Needlers' as I'll call them in the story (seriously, Japan ruined tentacles, thanks...) serve a huge number of purposes. Not only can they allow the pilot to hack into technology, but they can also cling to surfaces, grab and wrap unsuspecting enemies, and even serve as weapons capable of stabbing weak-bodied demons and monsters to death. They can automatically protect the pilot during melee entanglements, and can even be used for scouting around corners, thanks to their audio/video recording capabilities, a trait every inch of the T-REX exosuits share!

Yes, the Spectre is an exciting and interesting addition to humanity's armaments. Of course, it's far from being the only thing we'll use in our fights against demonkind, but I digress.

We've only one more exosuit to go, and it's called the Thundercat! Expect to see it within the next week, because it's not quite done yet. After that, I'm going to end up posting LOTS of Patreon-only character designs, specifically for the Hidden Emperors! All of these designs are going to be super cool, and I'll make them publicly available eventually... but only once the characters appear in the serial.
