Mad Madam Mildred: Solomon's Secret Rival

Madam Mildred is a character who first appears in Cryopod Refresh Part 192. If you have not yet caught up to the story by that point, you might want to skip this post for now.

For everyone else, here is Mildred's artwork! Once again, MWTX outdid himself in the art department! 

Mad Madam Mildred's name is inspired by Mad Madam Mim, a character from an old Disney movie, the Sword in the Stone. Check it out here:

Her origins are unknown as of the Marie Arc's conclusion. However, given her bombastic personality, one would be hard-pressed to call Mildred anything but a shining beacon of excitement in a dreary and boring world.

Born with the ability to network the minds of other people amongst each other and herself, Mildred gathered the intellect of many geniuses and scholars to create all kinds of incredible inventions, many of which were on par with Solomon's accomplishments.

However, where Solomon possessed too deep a love of riches, wealth, and women, Mildred's greatest character weakness was her enormous ego. In her eyes, nobody could measure up to her perfection. This eventually morphed into delusion as she began to view herself as the most beautiful woman on Earth, a lady every man would give his life to win a night of her affections.

It is unknown by what manner she died, but plenty of evidence suggests that Mildred carried deep-seated regrets to her grave, all of which bothered her even after spending 100,000 years inside her divine artifact.

Below are the WIP images we created for Mildred.

Mildred's original pose was intended to be something along the lines of a Cruella De'ville image, complete with a long cigar.

However, we abandoned that idea quickly.

At one point, I suggested giving her a 'hat' but Raul thought I meant a little teeny tiny hat. I ended up showing him an image of Molly Brown, and he got the picture.

My final suggestion was to give her 'drill hair,' like so:

Eventually, we finalized her design, and the rest was history!

You silly boys only WISH you could bed a woman this gorgeous.
