The shadowy figure always needed to be creepy and I struggled so much to make it that way without overdoing it. I feel like I managed to succeed in making it creepy. To achieve this feeling I used a mix of color shift throughout the panels and made the shadowy figure like a person that was burnt! Since the following page was going to be mostly fire imagery, this made sense to me.
