It's because the Connecter script is doing a save state in the scene, so basically it's saving the whole scene in a temporary file, deletes everything but the object you're exporting, changing all render settings, deleting all textures, then saves the model and loads the original scene back.
One could argue if that's the best way to do it :-)

I noticed when you try to add some models to connecter from bigger scene it takes even 10 minutes. When you open second 3dsmax and copy there only object you need it takes seconds. I do not know why :)

Hi Johannes
Maybe you know solution.
When I add assets to connector and I choose couple of objects time of saving is very very long. Do you know where is the problem? On your video is a one second.

I would find it quite useful too...Great idea!

I use it very often, equal lenght saves time !

Johannes, as you wrap up the Ovre Olskroksgatan project, would you consider recording a short addendum describing how you would price these images for a client?

12:46 mark, where you say "I could scale"... I use a pretty handy plugin called "ExtendBorders". A slightly different workflow for you, but I think it'd make it faster and allow you to have equal lengths.

I would go to ACR and just use the grain option there. You can change the size, roughness and amount and apply it to a smart layer, so you can go back and change it. That has always yielded the best results for me!

Could you do a recap on your cameras please? I'm having trouble deciding focal lengths for interior shots.
