Rethinking the tiers
Added 2020-03-22 11:43:52 +0000 UTCThank you all for the feedback regarding my new tiers. It is important to hear your thoughts and it helps me realize things I might have not otherwise thought of.
The time limit idea was an idea I got from another Patreon Creator and I thought it could be an alternative since I didn't want to increase prices. However since your feedback made it clear that a time limit was a stupid idea, there are no other options and I've now updated the tiers.
The $8 tier you guys are on now is unpublished but remains and you should still have access to the same old content you've always had. However I know Patreon redesigned how their tier system work some time ago which means that it has screwed me over since if I change something in an old post, people that are still on old, removed tiers will lose their access to that post. Stupid, I know, but there's a LOT of things stupid with Patreon.
NOTE: It will take a little time for me to update all videos to the correct tier access.
Regarding the removed time limit, it applies to videos, articles, LUT's and scripts etc. However models and scene files will still have to be removed after a while, otherwise 6 months from now people will join for a month, download everything since 6 months back and then unsubscribe again, which wouldn't be sustainable.
So a tip to you all: When I upload files, download them immediately so you don't risk missing out.
I hope this sounds more fair.

Thank you, I do too! Haven't really had the time to make a roadmap yet, but off the top of my head, second part of the BMW video is coming up next, as well as the "Roy Andersson"-influenced kitchen. Now when I go through a lot of old posts I also realized that I never finished the "welcome to my place" animation series so I thought it'd be a good idea to pick that ball up again. Then somewhere in between start to cover the Photogrammetry as I feel like I've reached a point where I'm not facing any new issues that needs to be figured out.

2020-03-22 12:14:00 +0000 UTCI just upgraded my tier from $10 to $19, but soon realized some of the older content are being locked, for example the scandinavian apartment videos. To access them, it says I have to join the $3 tier lol

I will take the time today to go to all the previous posts to upload the old content that can be removed since now. Can we upload video? Give us a little time to do it. Thank you. And yeah i agree with Nick.S. cgpeers are watching everything related to Fstorm and remove it.

Regarding the cgpeers - staff and core members there are pretty strict to anyone posting your content and pretty much report and ban it immediately. Same as with FStorm hacks. And I think it’s pretty neat!
