Beige Traditional

Hey guys.

You might have seen that I’ve been posting this project on social media last couple of days. Getting some great reactions on it. The great news for you Patrons is that I recorded almost all of it. Not with any narrative, so I’m just putting together a sped up video to share with you.

I didn’t record all of it since it wasn’t all made in a go, but setting up the scene, materials projections and lighting is recorded. The only thing missing is the plaid and decorating the dining room. Nothing that hasn’t been shared on my Patreon channel before, but I’m happy to recap that process in a second video as well.

Didn’t get to finish editing the video last night, hopefully I can upload it today!

Could you do a quick breakdown of the rug please Jojo?

Understood JL! Thanks for feedback! Waiting for this great material! Hug!

Please do :) Hearing more about your thought process when choosing mood / atmosphere would also be fantastic.

Thanks, love the feedback on this. Sadly I can't upload it in "real time" because of a simple reason. Since I didn't actually record it with Patreon in mind, I didn't pay attention to make sure nothing is displayed on the screen that I'm not allwowed to show (like links, NDA'd client stuff etc). So I literally have to look it all through myself before I can share the videos, and in real time I'd have to spend a whole weekend non stop to look it through. However, there aren't anything that is being missed by speeding it up, and as mentiond, I'm more than happy to complement the video with more in depth explainations of things on your request! <3

Hey JL, is there any idea when photogrammetry scanned tutorial will be up?

I too vote for a full version, no need to edit it. As others said we can always scrub the time line. The videos watching you work on a real projects are the most informative and inspirational.

Yep, I'd watch it!

I think the same, each one watches the moment that matters, sometimes a part is interesting for some and for others it is not, just advance the video, it would save JL hard work and machine time and we would have the study material faster. Great job JL! Come on!

I would really like to see full verison, if possible, even if not everything is recorded. U can just upload it as a single video, I am pretty sure there are a lot of us who will watch it and enjoy (and learn a lot of new stuff) :)

Like I said , the scene is LEGENDARY <3

I noticed how there some paint leaking of some sort from the ceiling , is a dirt map ? or ?

One word! AWESOME!!! one question tho, where did you get those pampas? :)

thank you! this is what I’ve always wanted! hope to see more like this in the future as well! mostly breakdowns— although you may feel like it gets kind of repetitive, it actually is quite interesting and fun for all of us to see the process. looking forward to it :)

I was hoping we would see something of this project really like the overall darker mood!
