Zzzzz... photogrammetry.

I little nightly update. I got my gear yesterday, and here's my very first result with photogrammetry. I'll have some few things to figure out, then you can be sure there will be both videos and continuous scanned models to find here on Patreon.

But first, HDRI!

Johannes, today Quixel announced its cooperation with Unreal Engine, meaning that Megascans assets will be free for UE4 users, which in itself is free as well (free for non-interactive media like images or video and 5% royalty for games. I'm not sure what this means for VR for architecture). I'm just barely starting to discover UE4, but I believe this could be promising for architectural visualization. Right now I work in an architectural office, where we began using Enscape on Archicad and the results are amazing. With tweaking just a few textures you can allow the client to walk around the house, whether in Oculus or just on the screen. I think this is profound in terms of communicating with the clients, it allows for so much more discussion than images. My questions are, do you think VR's role in arch-viz is about to dramatically increase in the upcoming years and could the Megascans+UE4 combo be a "game-changer"? The reason I'm asking is, I'm thinking about switching more exclusively into visualizations next year and I feel the market for still images is pretty saturated with many talented people. Things are different with VR however. I wonder if you have any thoughts on that yourself. Sorry for the long post.
