Preset Materials pt. 1 - Concrete, wood
Added 2019-09-17 23:10:07 +0000 UTCFirst video in a series covering basically all my most used preset shaders. I realize when editing that I didn't actually talk anything about the presets themselves, the reasons for it etc, but I'll get more into that.
This videos covers the concrete and oak veneer texture from Texture Supply. If you don't have them already I can really recomend taking a look at them either on hs page here on Patreon or his gumroad site. Slowly I'm replacing all my "go to-textures" with these.

Not really, they hvae made a decent layer explorer that replaces the outliner plugin, and also they have now made it possible so that the built in project manager can create custom folders instead of the original ones that we don't want. I've also noticed big improvements when importing models from solid-based softwares like rhino etc, they are imported more correctly. other than that, it's not a big deal. There is a big issue since 2018 that you have to click once in a window to "activate it" before you can enter any values in it, for example material editor or render settings. This is REALLY ANNOYING and they don't seem to give a shit.
