COVID-19 Update: Production Has RESTARTED!

Hey everyone!

Okay, let’s talk about pin production. With COVID-19 seemingly on the downtrend, pin production has restarted! I expect that things will run a little slow due to the backlog, but I can now confirm that production has reopened, and pins are being worked on.

Phew! We really were hit by unfortunate timing on this one. From what I understand, the January pins were just a few days away from being complete & ready for shipping to the UK when the virus hit the area & caused the CCP to extend the Chinese New Year break.

The January pins had been in production for a few weeks before the closures, so I expect them to be complete relatively shortly.

February pins have just entered production. The lead time is usually 20-30 days, but it might be a bit longer due to the backlog. March pins are also in production. I don’t think we’ll have them in time for simultaneous shipping with the rest of the March master tier, but they shouldn’t take too much longer. I expect April onwards to run smoothly.

We certainly have learned our lesson on this one. Getting thousands of physical items made is quite the endeavour - certainly a little more prone to problems than working in print.

Thanks for sticking with us. We will get pins sent your way as soon as they arrive in Northern Ireland. This is our #1 priority.
