It's The Ideal Time To Solo Legion
Added 2020-01-26 13:47:14 +0000 UTCEvergreen content is a hell of a thing. Recently, I’ve been playing a bunch of Legion. Turns out we’re in somewhat of a golden age for Legion content soloing, and what’s extra nice is that Legion supports this very well!
So, my new Demon Hunter has barely any Legion progress. Most tints aren’t unlocked, the class mount isn’t unlocked… I have loads of transmogs that aren’t unlocked. There are things like the Balance of Power quest line that I haven’t done.
That’s a lot, and right now, we’re in a good place with balance. Normal and Heroic raids scale based on player size, meaning they’re quite easy. Normal mode Nighthold bosses had between 1 - 2m health, which will be easily soloable by just about any current character. Mythic modes do not scale though, and will be quite a bit harder. I’ve get to fully test this, but if it’s anything like the experience of soloing HFC in late Legion, it should provide a nice bit of challenge. Well - albeit with a helping of jank, as not all boss mechanics work fantastically in a solo environment.
Anyway, I’ve got a bunch of transomg sets to hunt down, and a bunch of artefact appearances to collect. It’s a nice break from the usual 8.3 progression, and we’re in that sweet spot where Mythic poses enough of a challenge for it to be fun solo content.
I’ll probably keep this up for another week or two & make a main channel video on it!
