Oh and yes, I shouldn't have to pay for Epic level Raidbots to decide what is an upgrade or not. :(

To be honest with you, I am only playing still because I have played for years and it's the community that I still play with that makes it worth, not the content. I would love it if alts were easier to play with more account bound things. Especially essences are annoying and have made me quit alts. Ranks 1-3 should be account bound and leave the cosmetic prestige stuff for character only rank 4s. Legion held me because if I did everything (and there was a LOT to do) on my main, it was easy enough to pick up my alt and do almost the same thing and feel almost as strong as my main-not as strong, but almost and easily able to tackle the systems that were in play. Account bound essences would make it a lot easier to play the game and spend more time caring than I do now for sure. RNG crap goes without saying, it is really annoying to have this much RNG baked in where if you don't get a certain corruption, you fall behind no matter how good of a player you are compared to your peers. Also as a player forever, I really miss class sets and class identity. Legion was FULL of class love-and then BFA was like screw you classes, it's just Alliance v. Horde rawr. They threw our class pride that they tended for an expansion in the garbage. I feel like they have a real disconnect between those of us still playing and wanting to love the game and trying to push out stuff faster. I miss the Blizzard that used to use soon(tm) and it would be ready when it's ready. I miss Blizzard.
