It’s almost January 2020! Here’s what we’ve got planned out for the month. This is all rather subject to change, of course, but it’s what we’re working on now.

Patch 8.3
Patch 8.3 releases this month! We’re going to have a complete guide for lapsed & returning players, a gearing guide, a complete mount collection guide, and a preparation guide. The prep guide should be out Friday 3rd January, with the rest releasing closer to the patch.
WoW In 2020
WoW In 2020 is a video we’ll release before 8.3 launches. With BFA’s final major patch & Shadowlands alpha/beta/release, there’s a lot to talk about. By scrying back to past expansions & beta cycles, we’ll be able to lay out what to expect from Warcraft in 2020. While Shadowlands & 8.3 hype seems a little low, I have a suspicion that content-wise, it’ll be a solid enough time - bar any content gap that occurs.
Lore
Let’s talk lore! First, there’ll be new cinematic to react to. Who knows what they’ll hold, but I imagine it’ll help steer future lore. Past that, we have a fun video on the Draenei connection to the Shadowlands. Think about it: the Naaru sucking in souls, the Draenei binding souls to various things… There’s a lot of sneaky stuff going on there! It could all be relevant going into future content given how Blizzard is teasing a darker Elune, and how Yrel took a… surprisingly genocidal path in Battle for Azeroth. This was pitched by Matt, and I think it's going to be a brilliant one!
…Ugh, did they really have to do that? I really hope they’re able to make her work - it’d be such a pity if they took her in such a cruel, cynical & ‘shocking’ direction.
History
January will see us wrap up the Complete History of Classic! Past out final 2 episodes, we’re also going to do one on the cut content of Vanilla, and potentially one of the top dramas of Vanilla - WoW truly was a spicy time back then!
Generally, it’s a series that very much has a smaller audience than that of the channel. The videos really do struggle by the algorithm, which is why Patreon support is so vital. It’s remarkable freeing being able to make content because you believe in it. While it won’t launch in January, we’re going to be kicking off production of The Complete History of the Burning Crusade. I’ll do a more complete post here breaking down our vanilla series learnings & how we’re going to apply them going forward.
